One can't have enough information on how to navigate the federal hiring landscape. In fact, in one of my past blogs (Get ‘in The Know’ About The Federal Workforce), I underscored the importance of keeping a pulse on the federal workforce by reading...on a daily basis...the top media outlets that track and report on the federal workforce.

And I just came across a doozy of an article on one of those media outlets!

Jessie Bur, an associate editor at Federal Times, just published a series of articles that explore the federal job application process and the ins and outs of how the government classifies, investigates, and prioritizes applicants for federal work.
